| An officer to the rank of Assistant Commissioner,
Deputy Commissioners, Joint Commisioner or Commisioner Income Tax (good
cities like Mumbai or Delhi) gets a posting only if he bribes the senior
officers (CBDT members) or some relatives, brokers of finance
minister. He pays in the range or Rs 2 to 10 lakhs for it. The
Junior level officers like ITO or below them also have to pay in the range
of 25 thousand to 1 lakh rupees.
Since he pays for it he has to get back from Income tax payers.
